Action Required: Order Management Shortcuts
The newly redesigned Manage Orders admin page, which was previously in beta, is now the default page, offering improved efficiency and better support for future updates. The legacy Manage Orders page, flagged as Deprecated, will be removed soon.
If you see a "Deprecated" warning next to any shortcuts under Admin Dashboard > Order Management - Shortcuts, please take the following steps, as these shortcuts will be permanently removed in the next code release:
- Recreate: Determine the purpose of the deprecated shortcut and recreate it using the new, default Manage Orders page.
- Remove: Click on the deprecated shortcut and select 'Remove from shortcuts'.
Note: We are aware that some shortcuts may be displaying an incorrect order count. We are actively investigating this and expect an update tomorrow.
Resolved Issues
Shipping Methods Not Appearing During Checkout
- Issue: Following yesterday's code update, a few stores reported this issue, which was linked to 'negated' conditions on shipping methods.
- Temporary Fix: We temporarily removed the negated conditions from the affected sites.
- Resolution: The issue is now addressed. Stores that had removed the negated conditions can now safely add them back. Please review these conditions to ensure they are necessary.
USPS API Tools
- Issue: Our attempt to adapt to the new USPS API resulted in checkout problems early today. It occurred because our system hit USPS's daily API call limit overnight.
- Resolution: We identified the cause and deployed a fix early this morning.
