Highlights of This Release
New Functionality
- Subscriptions with variations: Stores can offer a single subscription product with multiple pricing tiers or variations. For instance, one subscription can include options such as a 3-month plan for $50 and a 6-month plan for $100.
- Multi-Location Store Updates: For stores that operate with multiple locations, it is now possible to display links to each individual store's information page beneath the main store logo.
- Promotion and Coupons: A new "Negate" condition is now available, allowing users to exclude specific ISBNs or SKUs from being eligible for promotions and coupons.
- Limiting search results to books in stock: Stores can now set "in stock" as the default filter for search results on their websites. This builds upon the recent addition that gave customers and site visitors the option to manually limit search results to only items currently in stock.
Enhancements & Updates
- Browse Book: Improves the performance of the Browse Books feature by limiting the Browse Books index to the top-ranked 50,000 books on the site. Scores are recomputed every 24 hours.
- Event Carousel: Event carousels will include the slick dots below the carousel for navigation and Browse All link on the top left, in addition to the left and right arrows.
- Header Logo: All 4 header options will be responsive and mobile friendly
Bug Resolutions
- Issues related to books: Reported by stores regarding books that include these scenarios - unable to add a particular book to a product list, book appears in the search results but unable to access the book product page, unable to open / edit orders for a particular book..
- Wishlist & Registries: For wishlists and registries with multiple pages, where customers were unable to navigate between pages after adding an item to their cart.
