The IC development team has been actively developing new features and addressing bug fixes since our last release less than a month ago. Here's a sneak peek at what you can expect next week; the exact release date will be announced later this week.
New Features:
- Daily Recurring Events: Support for events spanning multiple days.
- Scheduled Content Publishing: Plan and automate the publishing and unpublishing of various content types (Pages, Landing Pages, Product Lists, etc.).
E-Commerce Enhancements:
- Wholesaler Discounts: Expanded discount code options to include multiples of 5 and 10.
- Promotions & Coupons: Apply discounts to either the cheapest or the most expensive item in an order.
- Fraud Detection: Enhanced with GeoIP location information.
- New Reports:
- Sales Report by State
- Paypal Transaction Report
- ShippingEasy Integration: Order export and tracking number import.
- Gift Registry Updates:
- Gift registry owners can customize the confirmation email.
- Store staff can download gift registry details to a spreadsheet.
- Custom Checkout Panes: Option to add up to 5 custom checkout steps accepting Yes/No input.
POS EDI Integration (iMRCHNT):
- The 2-way communication between IndieCommerce and iMRCHNT for syncing website orders to the POS and updating online order status from the POS is nearing completion.
Introducing Beta Features:
We are adopting a new approach for large features by offering a 'Beta' version to gather valuable feedback. The upcoming release will include a beta version of the new Manage Orders admin page. While visually similar to the current version, it features a completely redesigned architecture for improved efficiency and future updates
