On Wednesday, September 10, at 7 AM ET, an urgent code update will be implemented to resolve issues with sales tracking from product lists and the events feed.

Brief periods of site downtime are anticipated during this update. Further details will be provided afterward.

This update includes the upgrade to Drupal 11. Site administrators should anticipate no significant changes.

During the upcoming Labor Day holiday September 1, 2025, IndieCommerce customer support will be limited to responding to emergency issues only. 

An emergency issue means that your customers can't buy anything from your website or your staff can't process any online orders. Your website is essentially broken and cannot take orders or process any transactions. If your website has an emergency issue please check the IndieCommerce status page first. If your issue has not been reported submit a critical outage report and IndieCommerce staff will be alerted immediately.

We are investigating unusually high traffic on IndieCommerce 2.0 sites, which is affecting the performance of the sites. Our team is working hard to address this. Please bookmark the IndieCommerce Status Page for updates.

An urgent code update is scheduled for 7 AM ET on Wednesday, August 20, to fix a bug affecting the homepage event carousels and event calendar view. More details will follow after the update.

We've received reports from several IndieCommerce stores regarding issues with capturing successful credit card authorizations. Authorize.net identified and reportedly fixed the issue on their end as of Tuesday, August 12, 2025.

If your IndieCommerce store has credit card orders that cannot be processed on your website, please contact staff@bookweb.org, and the IC team will assist you.
